Welcome to Morning Glory Mental Health, where your well-being and privacy are our utmost priorities. Before commencing therapy, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions:

1. Confidentiality and Privacy:
   - Your privacy is paramount. All information shared during therapy sessions will be treated with the strictest confidence.
   - The therapist is committed to maintaining confidentiality, except in situations where there is a legal obligation to disclose information (e.g., if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others).
   - Your personal and clinical information will be stored securely, and all reasonable precautions will be taken to protect your data from unauthorized access.

2. Information Sharing with Practice Colleagues:
   - In some cases, it may be beneficial for your treatment to involve consultation or collaboration with other professionals within the practice. Your therapist may share information about your case, but only to the extent necessary to provide the best care.
   - These consultations are solely for the purpose of improving the quality of your treatment. Any shared information will still be subject to strict confidentiality requirements within the practice.

3. Informed Consent:
   - You have the right to be fully informed about the therapeutic process, including the methods and techniques used, the goals of therapy, and potential risks and benefits.
   - Your active participation and informed consent are essential throughout the therapy process.

4. Boundaries and Professionalism:
   - Therapists are bound by professional codes of ethics. Maintaining a therapeutic relationship and setting clear boundaries is essential to the success of your therapy.

5. Appointment Cancellations and Fees:
   - Please review our appointment cancellation policy, which outlines the terms for rescheduling or canceling appointments.
   - Payment terms and fees are outlined in a separate financial agreement provided to you.

6. Termination of Therapy:
   - You have the right to terminate therapy at any time, and the therapist may also terminate the therapeutic relationship under certain circumstances.

7. Emergencies and Crisis Situations:
   - In case of an emergency or if you are in crisis, please seek immediate assistance by contacting emergency services or a crisis hotline.

8. Feedback and Concerns:
   - Your feedback and concerns are important to us. If you have any questions or issues regarding your therapy or the therapy process, please don't hesitate to discuss them with your therapist.
